Data Coordinator Registered Apprentice

Position Summary
All Hours Adult Care (AHAC), a subsidiary of Connect Community Access, is seeking a motivated and technology-oriented Data Coordinator Registered Apprentice to support the organization's Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) Program through data management, technology support, documentation, reporting, and regulatory compliance activities.
This is a full-time position within AHAC's U.S. Department of Labor (USDOL) Registered Apprenticeship Program. The Registered Apprenticeship is a structured, competency-based workforce development program that combines paid, on-the-job learning with related technical instruction to prepare apprentices for successful careers in data coordination, information systems, and healthcare program operations.
During the 12-month Registered Apprenticeship, apprentices will receive structured training, individualized mentoring, and progressive skill development while performing meaningful work that supports AHAC's Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) Program. Apprentices will develop competencies in data management, compliance, technology support, workflow coordination, reporting, quality assurance, and operational excellence, consistent with the organization's approved apprenticeship standards. These competencies are reflected in the approved Related Instruction outline, which includes ALW program foundations, client intake, data systems, HIPAA, billing reconciliation, compliance reporting, workflow management, quality assurance, professional communication, and an applied practicum.
The Registered Apprenticeship represents the next stage in AHAC's workforce development strategy by providing eligible employees with a structured career pathway that combines paid employment, competency-based learning, related technical instruction, and individualized mentorship leading to nationally recognized credentials.
Upon successful completion of the apprenticeship, participants will earn a nationally recognized U.S. Department of Labor Certificate of Completion of Apprenticeship, recognizing their demonstrated competency in the Data Coordinator occupation.
This position supports AHAC's commitment to workforce development by preparing skilled professionals who contribute to high-quality services, regulatory compliance, and continuous organizational improvement.

Compensation
All Hours Adult Care (AHAC), a subsidiary of Connect Community Access, reasonably expects to pay between $18.00 and $25.00 per hour for this position.
Actual compensation will be based on education, experience, qualifications, internal equity, and the organization's apprenticeship wage schedule, where applicable.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Program Manager, the Data Coordinator Registered Apprentice will:
Data Coordination
- Enter, update, verify, and maintain participant records across multiple electronic systems.
- Maintain data integrity through routine quality assurance and reconciliation activities.
- Generate reports and tracking spreadsheets using Microsoft Excel.
- Assist with Monthly Service Verification (MSV) reviews and documentation.
- Support compliance reporting and audit preparation.
- Maintain organized electronic records and document retention practices.
- Assist with participant intake documentation and eligibility verification.
- Track reporting deadlines and workflow activities.
- Support data analysis and operational reporting.
Technology Support
- Provide first-level technical support to remote staff.
- Configure user accounts and system access.
- Assist with Microsoft 365 administration.
- Troubleshoot software, hardware, printers, and connectivity issues.
- Support virtual meetings and collaboration platforms.
- Maintain inventory of organizational technology equipment.
- Assist with cybersecurity awareness and routine technology updates.
- Document technology support requests and resolutions.
Administrative Support
- Maintain confidentiality of participant information.
- Follow HIPAA privacy and security requirements.
- Support workflow coordination across departments.
- Participate in team meetings and training.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Associate degree or coursework in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Health Information Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems.
- Strong computer aptitude.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience providing technical support.
- Experience with databases or electronic record systems.
- Microsoft Excel experience.
- Familiarity with HIPAA or healthcare documentation.
- Experience using Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, or cloud-based applications.
- Experience supporting nonprofit or healthcare organizations.
